1. What We Collect
When you use our services, we collect:
- Account information: your email address, provided at signup
- Domain data: the domain names you add for monitoring, and the DNS, SSL, and WHOIS data we retrieve about them
- Billing data: payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID but never see or store your card details
- Usage data: basic server logs (IP address, request timestamps) for security and debugging purposes
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide the monitoring service you signed up for
- Send you alerts about changes or issues with your monitored domains
- Send you transactional emails (magic link login, billing confirmations)
- Debug issues and maintain service reliability
We do not sell your data. We do not send marketing emails. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate:
- Stripe for payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
- Postmark for transactional email (postmarkapp.com/privacy-policy)
- Fly.io for application hosting (fly.io/legal/privacy-policy)
4. Data Retention
Monitoring history is retained based on your plan tier (7 days for Free, 90 days for Pro, 365 days for Business). When you delete a domain from your account, its monitoring data is permanently removed. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed.
5. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are not used — we use passwordless authentication via magic links. Database access is restricted to the application server.
6. Your Rights
You can export or delete your data at any time by contacting us. You can delete your account and all associated data by emailing [email protected].
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
